Ethan Furman linked to this "Choose Python" poster on comp.lang.python. While some of the humor might not mean much to people who haven't chosen Python yet it certainly gave me a smile on a cold, grey morning.

I find it a bit ironic that the second item (well first really) is 'Choose Readability', when that poster is about as readable as... well a very long blog post printed in poster format ;-)
Not exactly what I would print on my wall. I actually HAVE an awesome python poster for python... but the trademark committee would sue me if I showed it to anyone.
(NOTE: I am on the trademark committee...)
Wow. I created that a couple of years ago, and had completely forgotten about it.
Doug: it's actually a parody of the movie poster for Trainspotting: http://www.allposters.com/-sp/Trainspotting-Posters_i1037_.htm
And if anyone cares, I had t-shirts made; they're still available, and I'll still send any meager revenues to the PSF: http://apipes.blogspot.com/2005/02/choose-python-shirts-available.html
