Something I thought may be useful to add is a "Popular Apps Written in Python" [or whatever you want to call it] section, listing things like BitTorrent, etc. I know this is on the main python.org page, but it's kind of tucked away in a box on the bottom of the right hand column. Not exactly screaming for people to look at it, IMO. I think it's important to show people what's already been done in Python so they can get an idea of the myriad things you can do with the language. Anyway, just my 0.02USD
